PEAK-Drivers by Pcan is the official driver and software package for PCAN CAN and CAN FD interfaces. It provides reliable, digitally signed drivers for Windows and kernel-level support for Linux via SocketCAN, enabling fast, stable communication with a wide range of PEAK-System hardware such as PCAN-USB, PCI/PCIe, miniPCIe, and PC/104 adapters.

The package includes the PCAN-Basic API for C/C++ and .NET, ready-to-use sample projects, and diagnostic utilities like PCAN-View for monitoring and testing CAN traffic. It supports 32- and 64-bit systems, multi-channel devices, flexible bit rate configuration (including CAN FD), and features such as timestamps and listen-only mode.
